Starlight Dance & Musical Theatre School is proud to be affiliated with Acrobatic Arts the UK's leading examination board for acrobatic dance. The Acrobatic Arts program provides a clear structured progressional framework for dancers to work through. Examiners evaluate dancers against a set universal standard, allowing dancers and teachers to see where the dancer stands globally.
- Grades 1-6: Ofqual-accredited, earning UCAS points equivalent to GCSE and A-Levels
Acro fuses classical dance techniques with acrobatic elements. It is a popular dance style in competitive dance as well as in professional dance, theatre and circuses. This fun genre is an especially challenging style for dancers to master as training in both dance and acrobatic elements is required.
